Hi
I have a Cisco switch and the utilization is going crazy, i have ensured that line con 0 does not have logging synchronous as it was identified to sometimes cause the high utilization (Cisco bug ID CSCed16920 or Cisco bug ID CSCdy01705). I have added some information about the subject below:
Model: ME-3600X-24FS-M
IOS: me360x-universalk9-mz.154-3.S.bin
Process: 54 321169424 48625898 6604 57.85% 57.14% 57.12% 0 TTY Background
Reboot: Has Not Been Performed. Will Have To Be Scheduled.
Does anyone know of a way to resolve this ?
Thank you.

me360x-universalk9-mz.154-3.S.bin
This means 15.4(3)S. Because the "S" doesn't have any digit that means this is "version ZERO". SO I'll be expecting heaps of bugs.
Does anyone know of a way to resolve this ?
Since there is going to be a reboot scheduled, I'd strongly recommend upgrading the IOS.

Hi Leo
So after the reboot, the CPU utilization is now running at normal. An IOS upgrade had to be scheduled for a separate date.
Thanks for the help.
