 Hello experts.

I have 2 SUP720-3B.

I should reset to factory status, but I continuously failed to factory default.

↓ Actually, I know the method like below ↓

--------------------------------------------------------------

1. Enter rommon

2. Typing confreg 0x2142 and reset

3. Changing the confreg 0x2142 to 0x2102.

4. Reload

--------------------------------------------------------------

But, my supervisor was not implemented..

Please verification.

As you see the attached file, you know why it does not support reset method.

(Maybe it is hardware problem..?)

Do you know how can I handle that?

Regards,

From the link in your last reply:

When the RP gains control you will see a message that looks like this:

00:00:03: %OIR-6-CONSOLE: Changing console ownership to route processor

After you see this message, press Ctrl+BREAK until you see the rommon> prompt.

That "after" is essential...

Are you sure you are breaking to ROMMON after the "Changing console ownership to route processor" message, and not before?

 Thank you for replying.

Hmm... To tell the truth, I don't know.

I just followed this URL : http://www.usedrouter.com/ws-sup720-ws-sup720-3b-reset-to-factory-default.html

Then, I'll let you know how did I process the procedure.

1. Turn on the chassis after inserting SUP720-3B.

2. Entering rommon mode by entering "ctrl+break".

3. Typing "confreg 0x2142" and reset.

4. Turn off the chassis.

5. Turn on the chassis.

6. Waiting extracting OS

7. It surely showed me to request username....

That's all, could you tell me how can I deal with it?.
