Hi, I know by default the vlan 1002 is used for FDDI. Of couse my 3550 do not have fiber ring interface.
So how to use this vlan for ethernet ?

AFAIK, you cannot change default vlans. You have a 1000 other vlans left, why dont you use them instead.

Hi Kevin,
If you are falling short of vlan you can go for extended range of vlans but you will not be able to change vlan from 1002 - 1005 in 3550 switch which are reserve vlans.
