How to Stack 2 3850 24T as a core with redundancy

Need to have some procedure to set up 2 3850 24 T Stack as a Core switch and setup a redundancy.

and how the access switch will connect to the core (By fibre or Ethernet)

Hello,

ws-c3850-24t does not support SFP(fiber) unless you add a network module. You need to connect your access switches by UDP cables.

Hi Ervin,

To setup the stack you can follow the normal stack procedure for 3850 connecting the stack cable and executing "switch <stack-member-number> provision <type> "

Also configure the priority as best practice.

To setup redundancy with access, configure the redundant link from access switches to both member switches in the stack ( prefer to go for an ether channel with LACP )

For SFP make use of "C3850-NM-4-1G or C3850-NM-2-10G"
