Dears,

i have tow routers 7204 vxr and 3845 i need to implement HSRP between them.

i need 7204 vxr as primary and other to be secondary.

primary IP address 55.55.55.1

secondary IP address 55.55.55.2

what is the procedure?

standby 10 ip x.x.x.x - X is the gateway IP should be same on both the Router

on VXR

standby 10 ip x.x.x.x - X is the gateway IP should be same on both the Router

standby 10 priority 105 ( makes VXR as active )

If you have 55.55.55.3 IP free have that configured on VXR interfaceand have 55.55.55.1 has gateway
