HSRP on a VPN

I have a client running VPNs between HQ and several branches. They have 2 ISP WAN links on both ends and each terminating on a seperate router. I have enabled HSRP on the LAN interfaces tracking the WAN interface for failover both at HQ and branch.

I am having issues with routing in cases when ISP1 router is primary at HQ and ISP2 router is primary at Branch. How do I resolve this?

Are these actual ISP connections, or something like MPLS service? If ISP do the VPN endpoints have public IPs? Are you advertising the public IP out to both ISPs? Some more info would be helpful: make up the addresses if you want but be consistent with you changes.

Unclear (to me) what's your issue.  You're trying to avoid asymmetrical routing?  There's a reason why you cannot prefer the same path on both HQ and branch sides?

What kind of routing issue you are facing

post config and ping and traceroute results.

Could you please give a topology diagram and a detailed explanation of the routing issue that you are facing. Quite difficult to tell about the issue from ur post.
