I can't put a second HWIC-4ESW in a 3825 router and don't work

              Hi,

                    I put a second HWIC-4ES in a 3825 router and it does not work, only work the first card that is inserted, I use the slot 0 for it, the 0/0 and 1/0 work with serial card only if I put the HWIC-4ESW in this slots the router does not work, only work in 0/2 and 0/3 but only one, I need to know if there is a command to active it because the data sheet in CISCO indicate that this model of router support 2 HWIC-4ESW, help.

To get both of the switch modules to work you must connect the two switch modules using an external Ethernet cable. I found this in a Cisco document:

When two HWICs are installed in the same chassis,  they have to be physically stacked together. Stacking requires a total  of two ports
