I have a cisco router 2600 with one ethernet 0/0 only. I assigned the IP address192.168.1.1/24 to it. There's no other ethernet port. How can I telnet to this router?
Thanks

You can connect your pc/laptop to ethenet port 0/0 and assign IP address 192.168.1.2/24. After that, just telnet to 192.168.1.1.
Make sure to set up the vty lines to accept telnet as well as assign an enable secret via your console session.

well you have one interface just assign the ip address to that interface and enable telnet on the router set the passwords and then connect the port with the switch .
Then use can telnet using your network.
