Hello Community.
During a project we need add new iBGP Routers (N7Ks) to an existing full mesh topology.
At the end, the N7K infrastructure replaces the old devices (Cat 6500) but for some time, the full mesh would be quite big.
From your experience or from Cisco Guidelines:
What is the maximum number of iBGP Sessions that we should build up?
Are changed BGP Timers (5, 20) further reduces this maximum number?
Thanks for your help!

Hello
If you conerned with the amount of you ibgp peers in your migration have you thought about implementing Router reflectors to cut down on the ibgp full mesh requirment.
I dont really like posting url links but please take a look at this - IBGP
