can anyone support why there is a lot of ICMP Redirect high loss below is the output

Hello
If you have active gateway such as fhrp/stacking/vss/vpc etc or if you have some path manipulation active (PBR/static routing etc..) this can cause high redirect packets punted to the cpu, so it mainly suggested to turn off redirect on all L3 interfaces. be it globally or interface specific (platform depending)

Mostly from hsrp, do you use hsrp in your network?

no there is no HSRP the issue in our Core switch which is stack of two 9500-40X

Stack wise virtual?
İf yes then you don't have ECMP for one prefix,
İcmp redirect happen when one Core SW inform host that other core have better path to destination.

Icmp redirect is indicated of other issue in your network' it ok to disable it but we must know why it happened.
