im unable to enable t1/e1 card

im trying to enable t1/e1 card on cisco 2651xm ios ver [flash:c2600-adventerprisek9-mz.124-25d.bin]

Hi,

Do you have a global configuration command controller available? The cards should be available under that command instead of the card command you've tried to use.

Hi,

The card you have in slot0 is a T1 card and is not T1/E1. So you dont need card configuration. As peter mentioned, you may have to use "controller t1" command to enable related configurations.

thank you all, for  inputs, im trying to  configure the controller for "pri-group timeslots 1-3,24", do i need to have PVDM to configure the router for PRI-group, im using advanceenterprise12.4(25), do ineed to changethe IOSandtry again, since under the t1 controllers i dont see the pri-group,  i have added

network-clock-participate slot 1
network-clock-participate wic 0

please advise how can i create pri-group, im setting up the router to simulate PSTN for voice lab
