Insert another router between WAN Switch and Default gateway from ISP

Hi ,

      We have two sites and at present our VLAN is trasfer over LAN Span through ISP and now I want to Insert router on other site between ISP and WAN switch and also create new vlan and make sure all vlan still working  , please provide some idea how I can implement this .

Hello,

If you insert a router, you can not extend your vlan anymore. To extend vlan, you need to use L3 switches instead of router.

Please explain more about your topology. What is the reason you have expanded VLAN through your ISP. What is your IP structure?

You mean are you doing layer extension with help of your ISP between DC's. if yes, then why you want to insert a router between those connection and what you are going to achive.
