Hi,

Recently we have installed 10G LAN&WAN modules in 7609,7606 routers and 6509 Switches .

we have inserted 10G LAN Module module in 4th slot of 7606 router and later we removed the 10G LAN module from the slot 4 but the interfaces still showing in the router for the module 4.

After reboot also these interfaces still are appearing

Please let me know how to remove these interface.

A reload of the switch should have removed them from the config.

However the recommended way to do it is to set -

module clear-config

in the running config. Then you remove the module and it should remove the config. However you must set it before you remove the module. If possible could you reinsert the module, then set "module clear-config" then remove the module. That should then remove the config.

If you do the above make sure after removing the module you then clear the "module clear-config" from the running config.
