All,
Does anyone know which WIC/VWIC card one needs to use to interface with an NTT I-1500DSU? We are going to be running a PRI-ISDN line off of it and don't know if the VWIC-1MFT-T1 card we have will work with it.
Thanks in advance for any responses!

Ask NTT if the circuit is true T1 or J1. If the latter, the VWIC won't work.

According to NTT they say it is a T-1. The issue is they are delivering it on fiber using the I-1500DSU as the termination point. Will a VWIC-1MFT-T1/E1 card work with that DSU?

Yes. Note the correct P/N is either
VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 or VWIC-1MFT-T1
The latter is an older type with somewhat less features,, but both will work.
Hope this help, please rate post if it does!

As a follow-up to this earlier post; we finally found out, once we were on-site, that the T-1 was delivered by fiber optic cable. NTT had to bring in a special CSU to convert it to copper so we could plug into it.
So, a word of warning for anyone doing Unified Communications in Japan, never assume any PSTN connection will be a standard ITU interface.
