I am trying to set-up a cisco 2960-x switch as layer 3 i have 3 interfaces configured

Vlan1 - 10.7.1.1 - 255.255.255.0

Vlan99 - 66.227.98.98 255.255.255.224

Vlan22 - 172.31.255.6 255.255.255.248

Vlan22 is my VPLS Traffic - work 100% - On Gi1/0/1 Vlan22

Vlan1 - connects to vendors firewall for access to hosted Servers on 10.7.1.2 on interface gi1/0/6-7 works 100%

Vlan99 - internet traffic

I want to set-up my internet traffic coming from my other locations over the VPLS to get to the internet. I am connected to NID Provided from internet vendor. But there is no DNS resolution. Can I add DNS to this Cisco and ensure all traffic destined for the other vlans still route to correct location.

sorry I am a Novice in the Cisco world, but getting better.. lol

This is a network switch. It only forwards packets. It can't do NAT.

I think you need a firewall like a Cisco ASA.
