any idea?

Mohamed,

I cannot say this with 100% certainty but usually, Cisco devices allow to downgrade their IOS. Please post the complete transcript of the failed boot attempt. Also add the output of the dir flash: command from the ROMMON. Thanks!

Best regards,

Peter

Post the entire boot up sequence. The IOS you want to run could be corrupted.

I know why you're getting the "Wrong IOS image for the router".

887VA does NOT support IOS version 15.0(1).  The lowest IOS you can use for a 887VA is 15.1(3)T or 15.1(4)M.

Thank you so much Leolaohoo.

i have copied from tftp c880data-universalk9-mz.151-2.T1

It works now . Thanks again.
