when show ip flow top-talkers command is excuted on my router for particular ip it displays as 36M under bytes.
But the link is of 10Mbps.
Why is it displaying as 36M

Can you provide version, platform and the output of the "show ip flow top-talkers" command, please? Also, is netflow enabled only on one interface?

Hi Prashant,
If you mean the last column in this output when you mentioned 36Mb, this is not the rate of the traffic in this flow but statistics - the total number of bytes transfered in this flow.
cache-timeout specifies the length of time for which the list of top talkers for the NetFlow MIB and Top Talkers feature is retained).

it means it used 203Mbytes for 5 minutes most likely or however your cache-timout says.
rtr0(config-flow-top-talkers)#cache-timeout ?
<1-3600000> Cache timeout in milliseconds
i have set it for 300000 meaning 5 minutes 300000/1000/60=5minutes
do this
rtr0#show run | s top
it will show you what's the cache-timeout value.
