Hi there,
Is it possible to forward and QoS traffic destined for other hosts on a Cisco 800 series ISR?
For example, all traffic for 203.174.152.32/28 is currently being routed to 203.174.188.56/30.
IP addresses 203.174.188.58 and 203.174.152.33 (secondary) have been assigned to Fa4 (the WIC in an 881) and Vlan1 (172.16.0.1) is up on interface Fa0.
Current topology is as follows;
Internet uplink -> Switch0
Switch0 -> Fa0 | Vlan1 (172.16.0.1/255.255.255.0)
Switch0 -> Fa4 | Internet (203.174.152.33/255.255.255.240)
Proposed topology:
Internet uplink -> Fa4
Switch0 -> Fa3 (forwarded traffic not destined for any of the IP addresses assigned to Fa4)
Switch -> Fa0 | Vlan1
A number of hosts with IP addresses in 203.174.152.32/28 are directly connected to Switch0. I want to be able to implement QoS on the traffic destined for these hosts.
What is the correct way to approach this? Is someone able to provide an example config?
Much appreciated,
Trent

NB: QoS features, on 800 series, can vary depending on IOS. What IOS version and feature set are you running?
I'm a bit confused about your current and proposed topologies. There's another switch involved? You're trying to configure QoS toward LAN hosts on a specific subnet? Is so, from what other hosts? What do you see QoS as being able to do?
