ip pgm router

Forgive me if this is already asked.  I am installing a new switch and need to deploy Pragmatic General Multicasting.  I have configured my layer 3 interface but the command (ip pgm router) is unavailable/deprecated.  I can't seem to find any documentation as to what the new command would be for IOS XE 16.9.2 (Fuji).  If anyone has any helpful info, it would be greatly appreciated.

Notes:

Cisco 9407 (IOS XE 16.9.2)

Interface - TenGig SFP (currently shutdown)

• Layer 3 enabled
• ip pim dense-mode
• OSPF
• QoS
• Service Policy applied

Commands entered:

(config)#ip routing

(config)#ip multicast-routing

Hi Luis,

    Thank you for your reply.  I see the command was deprecated in this version of IOS, but what I am looking for is what to use instead of PGM.  I have an application that relies on it(PGM) but the vendor doesn't have documentation for newer version of IOS that don't support PGM.  Is it as simple as enabling ip multicast-routing and expect it to work?
