Pretty standard IP sla tracking configuration as below. I realized that 180 seconds is the maximum timer I can configure in "delay down 90 up 180". What if I want it to stay down for 4 hrs before claims up?
ip sla 1
icmp-echo 4.2.2.2
timeout 1000
frequency 3
ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now
track 1 rtr 1 reachability
delay down 90 up 180

hi,
EOT is about tracking the network's behavior and prevent traffic loss n blackholes, so fast convergence with minimum down time is definitely an objective. this delay option that you have here is a part of insurance, when there is a possibility of link flapping.
well, i dont think you can keep a link down for such long time using object tracking, maybe an script n timer can do that.
plz Rate if it helped,
