'ip tcp mss ####' on global configuration mode.

Team,

I'd like to know what the purpose of this configuration.

on global configuration

ip tcp mss 1300

Is it the same configuration when we input this to interface configuration as ' ip tcp adjust-mss ####' ?

eugen,

I'm looking for particular command for replacing 'ip tcp adjust-mss'.

As per my investigation, ip tcp adjust-mss configuration is not works in tunnel 0 on Cisco 7600 Series Router.

Hence, I'd like to know what the exact command for Cisco 7609 Router replacing with 'ip tcp adjust-mss'.

Hi,

"ip tcp adjust-mss" or "ip adjust-mss" is a global configuration mode.
