Is memory license activation on a Cisco 2951 required if installing more memory?

This link gives examples of license activation. What's interesting is that it talks about a "Memory Evaluation License".

 

I know that you can buy additional memory for the ISR G2 router like the 2951, but I had no idea you had to purchase a memory license from Cisco to actually use it? Is this assumption correct?

Thankfully, no. A "license" is not required when installing additional DRAM.
