IS PIM neighborship unidirectional ?

HI  

Just  wanted  to confirm on PIM neighborship  type  for  spares/dense or sparse-dense mode. Is it  unidirectional ?

Today  ,i have  encountered an event  between PE  and CE ,  running sparse-mode , where on PIM neighborship  with CE was built  but   PIM neighborship  from CE to PE  was down  .

However , i have  fixed the problem , but  needs  to  understand the neighboring   process .

indeed, unless you configure PIM to be bi-directional (using the command 'ip pim bidir-enable), the default is that PIM sparse/sparse-dense/dense is unidirectional.
