Is there a way to save outgoing/destination SPAN traffic?

I'm doing SPAN labs and the only method I see available is to analyse the destination port traffic using wireshark.  Do network engineers typically save the destination port traffic somewhere? And if so how...?

Hello
you can save pcap files from wireshark or any other file extension depending on what analyser you have attached.- is this what you mean?
