Is there anything to consider when upgrading from ASr9000 OS 4.3.4 to

rjh0908
Level 1
Level 1

The module is RSP440-TR and the current version is 4.3.4
The client is currently using Telnet and Password md5 formats.
You need to upgrade to use SSHv2 and algorithm (sha-256/512).
Equipment Sw and Hw can not be guaranteed when upgrading from Cisco to EOS / EOL
Is there anything to note or refer to when upgrading?

Hi

Are you running version 4.3.4 and planning to go to which version? As per the docs, RSP440-TR would be supported in 4.2.0 version only.

Is the ASR9000 device compatible with 440G-TR and 440G-LT?

The goal is to upgrade from 4.3.4 to 5.3.4

It is compatible with 440G-LT.

But, for 440G-TR I dont think you can go to 5.3.4.
