ISIS redistribution

Hello,

Is there rules for redistribution between two ISIS levels.

R4--L2---R3--L1--R2---L1--R1-L1--R5--L2--R6

In above topolgoy R3 advt. R4's loopback to R2 through route-leaking. Now again we have done route-leaking on R5 but when we try this R4's looopback to be redistributing again to R6 it failed...May be because on R5 it is visible as inter-area.

Can someone confirm is there rules for this redistribution.

I got the answer.

Inter-area routes not propogated to L2 from L1 domain to avoid routing loops.
