ISR 4221 - IOS UPGRADE REQUIRE ROMMON UPGRADE ?

Hi

Just need to understand when is ROMMON upgrade required ?

I see that when going from 3.x on ISR 4221 to 16.X it is required.

But is that the case when upgrading from 16.09 to 16.9 as well. Also is there a link which defines this in a

- Scrutinize Release Notes, for targeted version and check if ROMMON-upgrade is required or not

If ROMMON upgrade is not required it is still best practice to upgrade when it is possible.
That latest ROMMON for ISR 4221 is 16.12(2r).
