LAG question

Hi Guys,

Quick question, is there any specific requirements to make a LAG configuration for ports that belongs to different SUPs (boards) on the same router ? or is it the same as doing LAG for ports that belong to the same board ?

The LAG/Etherchannel can span multiple physical switches as long as the switches form a single logical unit, like VSS or various forms of "stacking".  

For those who want to be pedantic, the term "stacking" does NOT include the archaic method of "switch clustering".
