I have an interesting issue.
There is latency between a Cisco 2921 Router and its internal switch module installed in it, in my network.
We have many of these 2921 routers but this one is the only one with this issue.
The way we set these up is, the router has a handful of gateways on it via sub-interfaces. The switchmodule only has an Interface Vlan 10 with a default route back to the g1/0.10 on the router.
If I ping or trace to the router, its perfect.
If I ping or trace to the switch module, its hit or miss.
If im logged into that very router and trace to its own switchmodule, sometimes there is latency or a failed trace.
