Hello Kalai,

If the switches support STP, TRILL, or FabricPath, they can support any arbitrary topology, including ring or a dual ring.

Best regards,
Peter

Thanks peter..is it same condition at l3 switch?

Hello Kalai,

Technically, yes. A Layer3 switch is also a Layer2 switch; to prevent loops, it still has to support STP, Trill, or FabricPath on its switched ports. For Layer3 routed ports, since they do not flood traffic anymore (as opposed to Layer2 switchports), there is no risk of a switching loop, but obviously, you need the switches to support and run a routing protocol to allow them to automatically adapt to the momentary topology.

Best regards,
Peter

Thanks for your concern peter.. thanks a lot

Could you please let me know which L2 switch series would help for dual ring?

Could you clarify what you believe "dual ring" is, and what your requirements are?

This because different switches have different feature sets and, further, depending on the "dual ring" might not provide you the benefits you seek.
