Hi all,
I have just been asked to setup load balancing over one shdsl circuit
and one adsl circuit on a 1721 router.
Is this possible ??
Thanks
Alex

Kind of. Where the circuits are connecting to ?
If to the internet you can have two nat outside interfaces with two default routes. If you want more traffic for one or the other interface, configure addtional static routes for some popular destination.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

The router is connected to the internet by two wic's one is a sdsl(1mb) and one adsl(3.5mb). All the ip address are outside addresses.
thanks

So you can do as I suggest. Two default routes, and if not happy with the traffic sharing, add routes for popular destinations pointing to the faster interface.

Thanks, is there a command to monitor the traffic going through each interface to confirm that the load balancing is working ?
Many Thanks

Suggest that you use prtg, mrtg or similar snmp-based program (search) to visualize traffic in a graphical manner.
