Hello Community,
Just chasing some feedback on the setup that load balances traffic on the both WAN uplinks that are connected to 2 Starlink kits.
I know its going to be ECMP using the equal cost but my question is what would be the best implementation for 250 users.
Would it be better to have it per destination basis, per source-destination basis or per packet basis?
We would be using this with EIGRP over the phase 2 DMVPN solution.

Considering the nature of your network traffic and the number of users, a combination of per source-destination basis and per destination basis load balancing may be a good approach. This can ensure consistent routing for flows between specific source-destination pairs while still achieving some level of load balancing for other flows.
Additionally, since you mentioned using EIGRP over DMVPN, make sure your load balancing configuration aligns with the DMVPN setup and EIGRP load balancing capabilities. EIGRP supports per-packet and per-destination load balancing, but the specific configuration will depend on your network topology and the version of EIGRP you are using.

would be a good idea to not to load balance vpn traffic. rather send them through one outbound interface only. you can load balance all other traffic.
