is it advisable to have a load-sharing across multiple path on dmvpn or fail-over would be more suitable? as i have looked at, it will introduce possible asymmetric routing and may have problem in the future if i want to run zone-based firewalling on the hub router? please give you expert advice on this.

What is going to be the circuit technology the DMVPN is going to be running over?

I've seen situations where the primary link was Ethernet and the secondary link was a bonded T -multilink - in that case the traffic that was load shared over the multilink experienced a considerable delay over the traffic that was sent over the Ethernet link, in that situation failover was appropriate and not load sharing, your situation may vary.
