When you specify the prority is that absolute?  In other words is that amount of bandwidt carved out period or does this only take effect if there is congestion on the link.  thx again

Hello Whanson,

that is the resource reserved in case of full link usage

you can use more then stated priority bandwidth if the link is not congested and other traffic classes leave empty space.

This has been discussed in two recent threads with tests performed and reported by Chalin

LLQ with CBWFQ has this elasticity older queueing systems hadn't this capability.
