What does the error when you display power-on diagnostics mean when it says:
M4:Non-Volatile Memory Read/Write Test []
*** MEMDIAG_NVRAM_MAGIC_PATTERN_DATA_ERROR *** [Addr:BE001008, exp:0000ABCD, act:00000000]
power-on Diagnostics Passed.
This is on a L1010 with FCPFQ and no config on it.

Hello Brian,
the device has failed a memory test, however the overall result is passed.
Depending on the use you can ignore this if it is for a lab for example.
Hope to help

Thanks, doing some further testing it seems this may be the normal result when you "wr mem". Once any sort of config is on the FCPFQ it seems to go away.
