What is the maximum memory that can be installed in a cisco 7206?

It depends on what NPE you have installed in your 7200. The NPE-G1 supports up to 1Gig of DRAM.

The NPE-G1 is the latest in a serie of network processors for the 7200 platform.

My 7206 is equipped with a NPE200. Here is the memory stats:
cisco 7206 (NPE200) processor with 122880K/8192K bytes of memory.
When I consult the Cisco web site it indicates 128 meg is the max memory. I am reading this incorrectly?
Thanks

That is correct. The NPE-200 can be configured with a maximum of 128MB of DRAM. The only way to add more memory to your 7206 is to upgrade to a newer NPE.
Maximum DRAM per NPE:
NPE-200 128MB
NPE-300 256MB
NPE-400 512MB
NPE-G1 1024MB
