Hello all,

As seeing the attatchment, there is a whirl situation.

I definitely saw the datasheet at WIC-1T.

Cisco 2800 series does not support WIC-1T according to datasheet. like below one - there's not indicated 2800 series.

It made me crazy.. confused.But in the attatchment, the connection is going well - 2801 , whereas 2811 does not gleam...

Can anybody tell me about this clearly?

Hello,

You can not find router 2800 in the list because WIC-1T has been announced end-of-sale for 2800; however, you can still connect this module to 2800 and use it, but cisco does not support it anymore.

Please check the link below. you can find modules supported by 2800. WIC-1T  is shown "end of sale"

I got your opinion, but the thing that I know is why doesn't  WIC-1T at CISCO 2811.

Maybe I think it needs to be on specific IOS.. right?

I believe so. I used WIC-1T many times on Cisco 2811, but not recently. The platform is the same. Try to downgrade your IOS if it is very new.

Thanks for being thoughtful.

The link below says that HWICs are supported beginning with Cisco IOS Software releases 12.4(23) and 12.4(20)T.

It will probabaly work, if you install IOS 12.4 or earlier version.
