All,
I have an existing mlppp configuration, and we're installing another vwic2 into the router. I don't believe this is going to be in issue, but I wanted to verify my config:
The existing config (chopped down)
int multi1
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 1
int s0/0
no ip address
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 1
int s0/1
no ip addr
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 1
This is the existing from memory. The question is, is the following the correct way to add another link? I need it to be separate from my existing one:
int multi2
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 2
int s1/0
no ip
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 2
int s1/1
no ip
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 2
This is the first time I'm setting this type of configuration up, but I figure that I'm just assigning my serial interfaces to a named group under the multilink interface.
Thanks,
John

This looks right to me.

Thanks Rick. It wasn't a trick question, I just wanted to verify my thoughts (and what I had already told someone else). :-)
