I am trying to monitor up/down status of isr's with dual interface/dual isp implementations. It is an active/passive implementation. The monitoring tools are remote third party icmp/snmp apps like solarwinds orion or prtg. The primary is being monitored successfully. The secondary isp is not however and it is because icmp from the remote monitoring tool is not being returned back to it(because it is the passive interface). Is there a method where this has been done before(perhaps by using outbound smtp traps to the remote monitoring tool)?
