Solved: More than two ISPs in Cisco IWAN solution?

Hello,

I am working on a design for a Cisco IWAN deployment and have come to a stumbling block. The short version is can I have more than two different ISP circuits in an IWAN design?

The long version- I am looking at a deployment that spans continents. There are two MPLS providers, one used primarily in the US, and one primarily in Europe. There's also the internet connections. At HQ locations in the US and in Europe all three connections are present. I am wondering if I can add all of this to a global IWAN deployment.

I know the setup wizards and all the documentation are only based on two circuits, but I can't think of a technical reason this wouldn't work.

Hi

Yes you can , Just in the middle of moving to IWAN globally so no expert by any means yet still in the very steep learning curve :) , we sat it ontop of our current transport layer so that if IWAN fails we go back to our current design in place , we have 2 mpls and 2 internet circuits in each HQ then each HQ HUB connects to each HUB say Singapore/Hydrabad/U.S etc which in turn every region has remote sites with 1 mpls and 1 internet circuit per site , were using DIA internet circuits and MPLS

We have 3 global ISPs and obviously more than 2 links per HUB so it can be done , im not responsible for the overall design we have a specialist company is US assisting us which has deployed iwan for enterprise customers globally before, there is quite a lot in it , we are working on it 8 months now and just started deploying in with test networks first last week as an overlay on our current standard primary router/backup vpn router all BGP multi-homed

so in short its definitely possible as all our 5 HQ global HUB regions are connected by IWAN now 3 ISPs involved and we have 2 remote sites tied in now too , 1 in EMEA and 1 in ASIA-PAC so far.

were using live action to track IWAN flows so if your planning on using netfow at all dont use anything before 15.5(3)S3 or netflow wont work correctly coming off the vrfs

I obviously cannot provide our design as it would contain company information but if there is a specific section your stuck on I can try assist by checking our setup and what we have done
