Good morning,
We have recently upgraded our MPLS circuit from 21MB to 100MB through our CO. This circuit supports multiple sites in outlying areas controlled through QOS depending on the circuit bandwidth at each site.
One of the external sites has been upgraded to 100MB and is used as our COOP site. This circuit flows through the same 100MB MPLS pipe as the other outlying areas. Since we now have 200MB worth of MPLS service flowing through the same 100MB MPLS pipe can this cause an oversubscription issue?
*** I informed my supervisor we might want to consider getting a separate 100MB pipe for our COOP site so oversubscription doesn't occur.***
Do you believe over subscription can occur in our case and how bad can the dropped packets have on our other outlying areas if oversubscription does occur.
Thank you,
Doug

Hello,
so you have upgraded one site to 100MB, but overall, you have only 100MB available for all sites ? Can you draw this up ?
