Hi,
I've been looking at MPLS VPN over mGRE as a really neat "MPLS-lite" solution to the problem of routing segregation across a third party IP core without having to deploy a mesh of point to point GRE tunnels running LDP and "real" MPLS.
For reference, details are at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/interface/configuration/guide/ir_mplsvpnomgre.html
My problem is that I don't see how I can intelligently deploy QoS on this. For example, if an IP packet comes into my PE with AF41, I need my outgoing GRE packet to have AF41 so the third party IP core will adhere to that marking.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers
Alasdair

I looked at preclassify but with the l3vpn encapsulation profile mechanism tied to a BGP route-map, the tunnel interfaces are automatically created and you cannot modify them.
r2(config)#int tu0
% This interface cannot be modified
:-(
