MQC qos-group

I am trying to configure a router for QOS NNI functionality. Because different providers honor markings differently I am trying to find something in common to mark packets with. If I set the qos-group how is it marking the packet and does it carried the marking from router to router or is it locally significant?

Well I found the answer but it's not what I was hoping.

The QoS group value is local to the router, meaning that the QoS group value that is marked on a packet does not leave the router when the packet leaves the router. If you need a marking that resides in the packet, use IP precedence setting, IP DSCP setting, or another method of packet marking.
