Multicast FS Pkt Count, PS Pkt Count and SW Forwarding

Hi everyone,

 

I could not figure out what the "FS", "PS" and "SW" stand for in the output of the "show ip mfib"  Can any one here explain?

The output of the command is shown below:

Hello,

 

FS --> Fast Switching

PS --> Process Switching

SW Forwarding--> Software Forwarding (when traffic is being forwarded to the CPU and is being switched in software)
