multicast group count in a vrf, value in snmp?

Hi

Subject says it all.

I've got groups in a VRF -  want to monitor how many are there --

ie:

SomeBox#show ip mroute vrf SomeVRF count

IP Multicast Statistics

74 routes using 31344 bytes of memory

36 groups, 1.05 average sources per group

Forwarding Counts: Pkt Count/Pkts per second/

Anyone done anything like this? I poked around in some of the mibs, but there doesn't seem to be any mapping between multicast and VRFs?

Sean

Same challanage here..  Unfortunately not many SNMP MIBs are VRF-aware.  For multicast, only "CISCO-MVPN-MIB" is VRF-aware, and it provides only high-level config info for the mVPNs (on my 6500s anyway).  I ended up writing an expect scipt that logged in via SSH to perform "sh ip igmp vrf EXAMPLE_VRF groups".

Here's an excellent doc, entitled "IP Multicast Network Management Overview" in case the link changes
