Hello, I have a question. I have a network with only routers. I have three igmp groups on three routers. I have configured IGMP only with the command :
ip igmp join-group ..... .
I have pim sparse with Auto-rp and sparse-dense mode. My question is if I haven't configured an igmp querier, is there one selected by default, or not? If there is how can I check which router is?

Hi
"In IGMPv1, there is no election of an IGMP querier. If more than one device on the segment exists, all the
devices send periodic IGMP queries."
"
IGMPv2 also enhances IGMP by providing support for the following capabilities:
Querier election process--Provides the capability for IGMPv2 devices to elect the IGMP querier without having to rely on the multicast routing protocol to perform the process."
"
When there are multiple routers, the rule for electing the Querier is simple: The router whose connected interface has the lowest IP address is the Querier.
