NAT on loopback

Gents my scenario is as under:

We have to install a router cisco 2900 at customer end. It will run BGP with the PE (as 2900 will act a sa CE). The router Ethernet will be connected to customer firewall (they have given us /30 address pool to use).

The traffic will come to our datacentre. I want that all traffic originates from customer site get NAT/PAT to a single address. Suppose i have chose to use 10.1.1.1 address. so at the customer end do i have to make a loopback of that IP address and then advertise into BGP? (i want to do at source NAT)

Do i have to ask the customer to tell me there networks (as i have to chose which to NAT). Can someone plz guide me or tell me set of commands

Thanks

Hello,

NAT works only on the traffic and not on the BGP routes.

To advertise the NATed routes in to the BGP, configure a static route towards null 0 and advertise it to the BGP using network command

I have somewhat understood your requirement

Could you please provide a simple topology diagram so that I may assist you.

Thanks,

Mohit
