Natted router anyconnect config works, but connectivity to remote has to be brought up from remote end.

Hello,

Big little project almost good enough for purpose.

I have a ios to ios vpn working. I have another router connected to that network at my house that i put anyconnect onto. Anyconnect is now all set up and working. However I have noticed right away that the particular setup to reach the remote end of the anyconnect config and the remote for the entire vpn will break within the anyconnect structure? when i go to ping the remote end from the vpn router at house i can still ping. but not through anyconnect unless i bring it back up from sending a ping from the remote site to "any" address in the anyconnect ip pool.  

Any thoughts for a quick fix:) ?

Hi

Can you share a quick drawing of your setup and the configuration please?
It could be a nat issue or acl missing the remote networks for your anyconnect client.
