hi all
we use NBAR at our 2821 router with 12.4 to reconize voice traffic. we might start using lync for some voice client and seems its using sRTP for media traffic.
does cisco nbar reconize sRTP and RTP exactly the same? so i have nothing to change?
or the nbar match voice will not work with sRTP and what might be the solution? matching ports/srv ip?
thanks

Hi Jon,
yes it does. But more important than the IOS s the PDLM (NBAR protocol database) you have downloaded on your memory.

thanks for the quick reply..
so when i put in
match protocol rtp
it should match both RTP and sRTP traffic.
thanks

It should, but i would also match the sRTP port to be sure..
