Need help in network design for the attached diagram

Hi All,

We have 3 location in Hyderabad,

Location 1 has internet from where default route is originating till now 

Location 1 - location 2 has ospf running in area 0 ---> link type NLD

Location 2 - location 3 has ospf running in area 0---> link type NLD

Now management has decided to bring 4th location with internet and plan to connect the 4th location with 3rd location and  1st location over NLD links

can you please suggest what type of protocols need to use to do the internet and Link failover's over the locations

I was wondering which protocol have you used so far? Can you please explain which is the current network design?

You have got two Internet Border Routers now, (Location 1 and Location 4) then it seems there are two L3 Switch providing distribution level (R2 and R6) and the two Routers in the bottom (R1 and R4) maybe providing Layer 3 aggregation at Location 2 and 3 respectively. Is my understanding correct?

The network design can be different based on platform, requirements and current implementation, also, you should specify which role has every single device at the moment, I know you are running OSPF, but what about the L3 switches there? Is there any external BGP session on the Border router on Location 1?
